SOUTHINGTON - Corinne D. Moore, widow of George V. Moore, born in Batiscan, PQ Canada on May 27,1909 passed away on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 after 101 years.
She married George on Aug. 12, 1933. She was the mother of four children, Donald (who predeceased her in 2004), Carol Soboleski, of Meriden, George (and Sharon), of Middletown, and Jeanne Lyons, of Southington, with whom she resided prior to her admittance into the Alzheimer's Resource Center. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Corinne was a devout Catholic who was able to reflect her values of kindness, acceptance, and her ability to recognize the best in everyone.
A funeral Mass will be held to celebrate Corinne's life on Friday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. at Saint Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Southington at 99 Bristol St. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
