Mrs. Sara Nell Fields, age 65, of Charley Road, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.
She was born March 18, 1944 in the Yorkville Community of Paulding County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Arlie Browning and the late Mrs. Mabell White Browning. She married John F. Fields on June 29, 1962 in Douglasville, Georgia. Mrs. Fields worked for 32 years for A&P Grocery as a bookkeeper. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Fields was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her grandchild, Tyler Smith.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 47 years, Mr. John F. Fields of Douglasville; her daughters and son-in-law, Janet Smith and Jennifer and Chris Kubicek, all of Douglasville; her son, Brian Fields of Douglasville; her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Lounell Browning of Douglasville; her grandchildren, Justin Fields, Sydney Smith, Bryce Kubicek and Haley Kubicek; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, June 15, 2009 at 3:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating.
