Obituary:

Graveside services for Martha G. Humber, 84, will be at 2 p.m. today at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery in San Jacinto. She died Tuesday of complications of heart disease at her home in Hemet.

Mrs. Humber, who was born in Los Angeles, lived in Hemet 22 years after living in Blythe for 26 years and, earlier, five years in Idyllwild. She was the daughter-in-law of Rollin P. Humber, the Idyllwild developer who founded Humber Park.

She was an animator who worked on the original Walt Disney movie "Snow White." More recently, she was an FTD floral designer for many years in Blythe. In the 1940s she was credited with starting the Parent-Teachers Association in Idyllwild. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Hemet United Methodist Church.

McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet is handling arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Rollin G.; one daughter, Cheryle Waner of Hemet; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
