Richard Stanley Ledbetter, age 78, of West Fork, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Fayetteville. He was born February 4, 1936 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Vester E. and Mary Cox Ledbetter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Mary Ledbetter and two sons, Steven Ledbetter and Mike Ledbetter.

He was former owner and operator of Taco Place in Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marilynn “Ruby” Ledbetter; a daughter, Kerri Sampson of Murphy, Texas; three sons, Randy Ledbetter of Texas, James Elliott of Conway, Arkansas and Keith Lunsford of Checotah, Oklahoma; four sisters, Jane Mahan of Elm Springs, Arkansas, Elaine Hegglund of Wichita Falls, Texas, Deborah Ingraham of Springdale, Arkansas and Judith Hayden of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Robert Ledbetter of San Antonio, Texas and Darrell Ledbetter of Fayetteville, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel.

Graveside service 11:00 a.m., Friday at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
