Raymond Orris Herrington, 81, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at his residence. Raymond was born October 8, 1932, in Lakeland, Florida to Orris & Annie Louise Herrington and has been a lifelong resident. He retired as the owner & operator of Herrington Construction Co.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Trish Herrington; sons, Larry Herrington and Timothy Herrington; daughters, Diane Herrington, Cheryl Mongoven and Toni Thompson; sisters, Donna Nophsker and Beth Burnick; brothers, Jim Herrington, Oscar Herrington and Ronald Herrington; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will begin on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at 10 a.m., with a chapel service to follow at 12 noon, at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
