Glenda June McIntosh, 77, of Paducah, died Monday at 10:10 am at her home.

June was born in Murray, Kentucky on February 13, 1937 to the late Luther and Lillian Paschall Copeland. She worked in the nursing field for over 50 years, starting as a nurses aid and eventually earning her degree as a registered nurse. She retired from Lourdes Hospice after 34 years employment. June was a faithful member of Paducah Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Chuck Young) Sweatt of Paducah; son, Mark (Wanda) McIntosh of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren, Matthew (Pricilla) McIntosh, Amber, Justin and Briana Sweatt, and Andrea Cramner; and seven great-grandchildren, Allie, Caleb and Trinity McIntosh, Brayden and Grayson Hensley, Harmony Fiers and Tyler Cramner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Freddie Medley.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Thursday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Chaplain Todd Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am Thursday.
