Green-Wood Cemetery
Border of Section 120/139, Lot 12664.
[NOTE: Some individuals buried here are not memorialized by any currently visible or legible stone or inscription. A list of lot occupants, with burial dates, appears after the inscriptions.]
Stones from 1864 stand next to stones from 1993 in this lot. Three of the oldest are completely illegible and may well have once memorialized Ernest Bensel, or Oscar and William Wright. The front and right sides of the old marble WRIGHT obelisk, along with 2 footstones, are at least partially legible. The Bensel stone across the front of the lot are easily read. But everything else is worn beyond legibility.
