STACY LEE WHITE Winterset

Stacy Lee White, 40, of Winterset, Iowa, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Memorial services were held Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winterset with Pastor Duane Miller officiating. His body has been cremated.

Stacy was born Sept. 2, 1968, in Knoxville, Iowa, to Denny White and Marty (Hatch) Cline. He was married on Sept. 3, 2005, in Winterset to Sherri Lee (Jacobs) Wildin. Stacy, a lifetime resident of Winterset, had been working for Seamus Excavating of Van Meter, Iowa, as a heavy equipment operator. He had previously worked for Eco-Tech and Correl.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri White of Winterset; children, Troyce White and Utonda White of Winterset, Tanner White and Trey White of Clarinda, and Tamara Dhabalt of Des Moines; stepchildren, Mike (Crystal) Wildin of St. Charles and Renee (Chris) Neuenkirk of Lorimor; his parents, Denny (Carol) White of Winterset and Marty (Robert) Cline of Winterset; parents-in-law, Jake and Carol Jacobs of Winterset; brothers, Jason (Elizabeth) White of Winterset and Ian (Dawn) Cline of Winterset; sisters, Kim (Al) Leonard and daughter, Alyse, of Winterset and Amanda White of Winterset; grandchildren, Brian Neuenkirk, Chelsie Neuenkirk, Michael Wildin and Dakotah Wildin; grandparents, Larry and Wanda White of Truro, Corwin (Marilyn Witter) Hatch of Knoxville, Jack Bailey of Knoxville, Pat Cline of Winterset, and Betty McClure of Dallas Center; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn Cline, Hattie Bailey, and Robert McClure.

Memorials may be directed to his family.
Funeral arrangements were handled by McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
