Alexander Mathias Flitter, 84, of 824 South Ave., Lomira, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1987, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born Oct. 18, 1902, in Campbellsport, a son to Adolph and Isabelle Serwe Flitter. He married Louise Krueger on May 11, 1932, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport.
Mr. Flitter was employed with Wisconsin Electric Power for 40 years before retiring in 1967. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lomira.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Beverly) Phelps of Menominee, Mich., and Mrs. Earl (Marilyn) Krueger of Waupun; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother Arnold of Elmore; one sister, Francis Brown of Dundee; three step-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild. Preceding him in death were two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lomira. The Rev. James R. Thurman will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira.
