Janice Ludwig, age 80, of McKinney, Texas, passed away September 16, 2014, in McKinney. Janice was born October 14, 1933, in Viroqua, Wisconsin, to Melvin Berkardt and Frieda (Veglahan) Hanson. She married Albert Ludwig on July 4, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Janice was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Al Ludwig of McKinney, Texas; sons, Tony Ludwig of Plano, Texas, Richard Ludwig of Sachse, Texas, and Tim Ludwig and wife, Kim of Rockwall, Texas; grandchildren, Nicole Ludwig of Sachse, Texas, James Ludwig of The Colony, Texas, Andrew Ludwig of Forney, Texas, Mikayla Ludwig of Rockwall, Texas, and Dylan Harralson of Greenville, Texas; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Aspen, Lilly, Izzy, Keegan, Xander, and Addie; brother, Fred Garske and wife, Judy of Rochester, Minnesota; and sister, Ruth Spacek and husband, Bob of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Baylor Ludwig, daughter-in-law, Diane Ludwig, and sister, Betty Burdoine.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas.
