KAYSVILLE--Loving husband and father,
Masao Okuda passed away on June 24, 1998, at the age of 66, of natural causes.
He was born May 17, 1932 in Clearfield, Utah to Harugo and Kumaye Okuda. He married
Toshiko Sugihara. He was raised in Syracuse, Utah and graduated from Davis High School, then attended Weber State University. He was employed and retired from Hill AFB. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
As a young man he was active in sports and loved baseball. In his later years he looked forward to bowling and golfing with his friends and family. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

Surviving are his wife; sons, Larry Okuda, Layton; Calvin Okuda, Kaysville; daughters, Linda Okuda, Bountiful; Susan (Blaine) Yoshimura; grandchildren, Kristin and Daley, Kaysville; also surviving are his brothers, Hiro (Ilean) Okuda, Clearfield; Tubber (Mary) Okuda, Bountiful; sisters, Amy (Kozo) Yamane, Washington; Kaye Aoki, Salt Lake City; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Barbara Aoki.

Funeral service will be held Monday, June 29, 1998 at 12 noon at the Ogden Buddhist Church, 155 North Street, Ogden. Friends and family may call Sunday at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to service at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
