DWALE, VA., December 18. - (Special.) - Simpson Adams, aged 80 years, of Sergent, Ky., died at his home yesterday from the effects of a fall received two days previous to his death. "Uncle Simpson" was well and favorably known throughout the eastern section of the State, and was the husband of "Aunt Sally," a member the famous Webb family, of Letcher county.

Simpson's headstone indicates that he was born in a month beginning with "M" which, of course, could either be March or May. Also, his headstone indicates that he died on the 13th; however, the article above states that he died "yesterday" which works out to be the 17th.
