Martha Jo (Gray) Patton, 83, of Kansas City, Missouri, died Sunday, September 14, 2014. The daughter of Sidney James Gray and Virgil (Williamson) Gray, she was born September 7, 1931 in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Martha was a 1949 graduate of Blanchard High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the Lake of the Ozarks and working in her vegetable and flower gardens. Martha’s greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Duane Patton and Steve Patton; two sisters, Niki Gray and Linda Moody; and three brothers, Buster, James, and Ronnie Gray.

She is survived by one daughter, Pam Patton of Kansas City, Missouri; two sons, David Patton and Christopher D. Patton, both of Kansas City, Missouri; ten grandchildren, J.P., Angela, Sarah, Andy, Zack, Crystal, Jennifer, Samantha, Stephanie, and Josh; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Hollcroft of Blanchard and Brenda Olmeda of Washington; and three brothers, Tommy Gray of Norman, Paul Gray of Purcell, and Harold Gray of Norman; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service and burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 18, 2014 in the Blanchard Cemetery.
