Eleanor Mitchell Terry, 101, died peacefully at Heritage Gardens in Upland on Saturday, September 13th. She was born June 7th, 1913 to Judge Archie D. Mitchell and his wife, Edna, in Ontario, where she spent most of her life. Eleanor attended Chaffey High School and Chaffey College. Her father co-founded Ontario International Airport.
She is preceded in death by her husband, E. Wayne Terry, her brother, Delwood and her daughter, Sandra Terry Harp.
Eleanor is survived by her son, Tim and his wife, Saj, grandson Erik and his wife, Annie, grandson Ethan Harp and his wife, Suzanne, granddaughter Morgan (Terry) Rosser and her husband, T.J., granddaughter Samantha (Terry) Wheeler and her husband, Matt, and her great-grand- children, Madison, Rylee, Luke, Kendal, Bella, Emily and Carson.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests a donation to the American Heart Association.
