Laura Vinnie Brashars Harper, 81 of Rochester, Ky. passed away Tuesday October 28, 2008 at her residence. She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late George and Ester Webster Phelps and wife of the late Earlon Brashars and Perry Harper. Member of New Midway Baptist Church and retired homemaker and quilter.
Laura Vinnie Brashars Harper is survived by her children Anna Belle Hunt husband Carlos of Morgantown, Ky., Shirley Neighbors husband JR. of Morgantown, Ky., Kenneth Brashars of Morgantown, Ky. and Sue Abbott husband Steve of Rochester, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; two brothers Bob Phelps wife Ruth of Indiana and Carl Phelps wife Wanda of Morgantown, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday October 31, 2008 at 1:00pm with Bro. Josh Scott and Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Cook Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 11:00am - 9:00pm and Friday 8:00am til funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
