Lee James Harwell Memorial Services for Mr. Lee James Harwell, age 64, of Cameron, were held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the C. H. Yoe Performing Arts Center with Angelo Reyes and Dale Owens as speakers. There were 642 in attendance. Mr. Harwell died Saturday, July 14th at his residence. Mr. Harwell was born January 1, 1948, in Blanco, Texas, to Harold and Theodosia Maxfield Harwell, and was retired from his first career as A T & T International Service Manager for the Caribbean, and his second career as an interpreter, translator and mediator. His vocation was a minister of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mr. Harwell graduated from Blanco High School and attended college at San Antonio College and the University of Texas at Austin. Survivors: Wife, Florinda "Paula" T. Harwell of Cameron; son, Clinton Harwell of Temple; brothers, Harold "Hal" Harwell Jr. of Boerne and Mark Harwell of Ft. Worth; sister, Theodosia Owens of Rockdale; 2 grandchildren. The Family has asked in lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to World Wide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses at 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, New York 11201. -
