Ronda Faye (Schlechty) Jackson, 58, was called home to walk with the Lord on September 13th, 2014. She was born March 26th, 1956, to Paul J. Schlechty and Wanda Kramer.

Ronda attended school at New Madison High School in New Madison, Ohio. She continued her schooling to receive her GED. She graduated in 1992, from Ivy Tech in Richmond, IN, with an Associates Degree in business as well as HUD management. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Throughout her life, she was involved with the Big Brother/ Big Sister program. She was a volleyball coach in 1986, for RMD Patti. She was once married and divorced from Kenneth J. Lentz and James Jackson. Her last place of employment was with Bethleham Manor as the manager, when her health took a turn for the worse. She was cared for by family over the years, because she refused nursing homes. She would do anything to stay out of them. She was paralyzed from the chest down for 30 years; and when she was diagnosed the doctors did not expect her to live more than 5 years. Ronda Jackson was a fighter!

She leaves to cherish her memory four children: Gary Tanner (whereabouts unknown), Christina and her husband Benjamin Rodriquez of Richmond, IN, Kenny and Jackie Lentz of Richmond, IN, Rachel and her husband Bill Carson of East Earl, Pennsylvania; her mother: Wanda Kramer; her sisters: Deborah Webster and Peggy Kern of Richmond, IN, eight grandchildren: Antonio and Tanisha Rodriquez, Jaylynn and Quentin Lentz, Cody Washington, Billie, Marc, and Lizzy Carson; a very special friend: James Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Paul J. Schlechty and her niece, Peggy Barker.
