Rebecca "Becky" Jane Cunningham, 78 years, of Anderson, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at her residence.
Becky was born on December 7, 1935 in Gravette, Arkansas to the late Frank and Alice (Duskin) Milburn. She graduated from Gravette High School in Arkansas and Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri. Becky was a teacher for the McDonald County School District for 25 years. She was an environmentalist who worked on Missouri Stream Team and several naturalist projects. Becky was a gifted artist in several mediums. She was an active member of Anderson United Methodist Church in Anderson, Missouri. Becky was an advocate for animal rights and memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to Faithful Friends Animal Advocates; 915 West Harmony Street; Suite A2; Neosho, Missouri 64850.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack E. Cunningham and a brother, Frank Herbert Milburn II.
Becky is survived by her son, David Cunningham and wife, Susan of Anderson, Missouri; a daughter, Barbara Davis of Pineville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Rebecca Cunningham of Bentonville, Arkansas, Tyler Davis and wife, Kelli of Anderson, Missouri and Alisa Davis of Houston, Texas; two great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Becky.
Graveside funeral service will be held Friday, September 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Reverend Pam Jackson will officiate.
