He was born Jan. 2, 1954, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, to the late J.B. Harrison and Maurine Tillery Harrison.
Ricky was a 1972 graduate of Harrisburg High School. Following high school, he attended Arkansas College in Batesville and the LSU School of Banking. He was the senior vice president at First National Bank of Wynne and had been in the banking business for more than 35 years. Ricky was an avid Razorbacks fan and loved golfing. He was a former member of the Cross County School Board, the Cherry Valley City Council, the Cherry Valley Lion's Club and was a former Citizen of the Year at Cherry Valley. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by three daughters, Brandi Hollis (Brannen), Chelsi Harrison and Mandi Turner, all of Jonesboro; brother, Mickey Harrison (Linda) of Harrisburg; sister, Teresa Shaver (Ronnie) of Jonesboro; grandchild, Kaylei Hollis; and two nieces, Molly Shaver of Jonesboro and April Stevens of Harrisburg.
Arrangements were by Gregg-Weston Funeral Home. Services were held at the Cross County High School Gymnasium. Interment was in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
