Rachel Duree Hill, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 14, 2014, to be with her Lord and Savior.
She was the widow of Curtis Vardry Hill and the daughter of the late Clarence and Annie Linder.
After Mrs. Hill's retirement from the Greenville Hospital System, she was blessed to love and care for a number of children who knew her as Granny and loved them as her own over the next ten years. She loved traveling with church and senior citizen groups and was always ready to go on an adventure. Her faithfulness and sweet smile will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her. She deeply loved her family.
Surviving are her son, Donald Hill (Gayle); daughters, Judy Hill and Linda Hill; grandson, Shane Hill (Maria); and five great grandchildren, Gabriel, Nicholas, Anthony, Joseph and Matthew Hill. She was predeceased by her six siblings, Edna Royce, Menta Linder, Ira Linder, Lois Greene, Syble Clayton, and George Linder.
