Graveside services for Martha Pieratt will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Sharon Cemetery in Drexel, Missouri with Pastor Eldon Allen officiating. There is no visitation. Contributions to Heartland Hospice. Services under the direction of the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri.

Martha Norene Pieratt, age 100 of Butler, Missouri, formerly of Amoret, Missouri died Monday, September 15, 2014 at Willow Lane Nursing Center in Butler. She was born January 18, 1914 to William Daniel and Olivia Carrie Shoemaker Carp in Drexel, Missouri.

Martha is survived by one son, Phillip Pieratt and wife Etha Pearl Black of Butler, Missouri; one daughter, Dorothy Marilyn Payne and husband Junior of Amsterdam, Missouri; one half-brother, W.D. Carp of Highland, California; and two stepsisters, Lillis Boyles and husband Joe of Bakersfield, California and Lois Parks of Shafter, California; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 18 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband E.C.; one sister, Mary Graves; and one granddaughter, Paula Payne.
