Art was the favorite uncle in the large Lawrence family. He was as Christ-like as any man ever born. Like his mother, he died all too young, He was one of eight children born to Ralph & Jeanette Lawrence of Fresno CA. Clara Doris Ralph Lloyd Arthur John Jim & Alice Fay Lawrence. In 2006 only Lloyd & Alice are still living.
Arthur went through life with this smile. As a young man, he would smile when embarrassed and it would seem not appropriate and get him into troublesome moments. A smile? That was Art!
