Rebecca Ann Sports, age 72, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014. She was the wife of the late Willie Sylvester Sports.
Mrs. Sports had lived in Fayetteville, NC for most of her life and was a daughter of the late Burnace and Maggie Hudson Haddock. She was a co-owner of the family’s Exxon Station prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Lee Sports; two daughters, Jenny Rovano and husband, Tony, and Judy Ann Kelly; one sister, Delores Red and husband, John; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her special friends, Tim and Electa Carmoney.
It was Rebecca’s wishes to be cremated and that no formal services be held.
