Mrs. Cynthia Hood, 62, of 2980 Semmes, wife of S.C. Hood, died at 8:45 p.m. Saturday at Baptist Hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home on Union with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. She also leaves five daughters, Mrs. J.E. Davis, Mrs. Paul Brandon, Mrs. Jacklyn Nelson, and Mrs. Jean Rogers, all of Memphis, and Mrs. Jerry Smith of Horn Lake, Miss.; two sons, Samuel McGann and Jessie Hood, both of Memphis; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Olive of Memphis and Mrs. Nancy Rigsby of Copperhill, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
