Miss Lucy Witzenburg died at midnight Saturday night, June 24, 1916 at the home of her parents four and one-half miles west of Pella. The cause of her death was a hemorrhage of the lungs. She was twenty-four years old and had been seriously ill about two weeks Funeral services were held at the Third Reformed church, Pella at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 27th, conducted by Rev. P. Grooters of Otley, assisted by Rev. P. Braak, the pastor of the church. Interment was at Oakwood cemetery
