Patricia Trantham, age 82, of Nixa, MO, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2014. She was born in Boone County, AR, May 5, 1932 to Bluford and Tenna (Collins) Thomason. She was united in marriage to Edwin Trantham, June 5, 1951. Pat was a homemaker most of her life. Pat loved taking care of her home and family. She loved to make flower gardens, and worked hard to make her yard pretty. Before Ed retired, Pat liked collecting antiques. Her family and friends say Pat was outgoing, friendly sweet and kind, “until she got mad at Ed”. Pat loved her dog, McGinnis, who was a Maltese. Pat was a member of Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church, Harrison, AR for over 65 years.
Pat is survived by her husband; her son Clark and his wife Melinda, of Houston, TX; her sister Gail Thomason-Rowe, of McCaskill, AR; and a nephew David Thomason and his wife Krissy, of McCaskill, AR.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Eugene Thomason
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Maplewood Cemetery, Harrison, AR.
Pat is survived by her husband; her son Clark and his wife Melinda, of Houston, TX; her sister Gail Thomason-Rowe, of McCaskill, AR; and a nephew David Thomason and his wife Krissy, of McCaskill, AR.
