HOPE M. HARRIS, 85, of Jefferson, GA died Monday, July 29th at Athens Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
A native of Jackson County, he was a son of the late James L. and Clara Evaline Pittman Harris. He was a farmer and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 11th at Bethany Methodist Church with Rev. Hulon Hill officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Harris; stepdaughter, Margie Wier of Jefferson; stepson, Allen D. Wier of California; sister, Clara Lou Harris Wilson of Jefferson; and 2 brothers, Joe L. Harris and Marcus M. Harris, both of Jefferson.
