HOT SPRINGS -Erwin Seymour Solomon died Wednesday, June 11, 1986 at his home at the age of 68. Mr. Solomon was born Feb. 5, 1918 in Belle Harbor, N. Y. the son of Samuel Solomon and Rose Bisgyer Solomon. He attended Emory and Henry College where he obtained his BA, John Hopkns University where he did graduate work in guidance, and the University of Virginia, obtaining his juris doctorate. He was a teacher and coach in Washington County and Bath County; principal in Highland County; Commonwealth's Attorney for Bath County from 1962-74 and 1983 until his death; member of the House of Delegates from 1974-82, representing Augusta, Bath and Highland counties and the cities of Waynesboro and Staunton.
He was admitted to the bar in 1950 and inducted into the Emory & Henry College Hall of Fame in 1985.
Mr. Solomon was a member of the Temple House of Israel.
