Grandpa had lived in Freeport for 30 years.He learned photo engraving early in life. He was the first president of the Young Apprentices. At his death, he was associated with Chromatic Federated Photo Engraving Co of Manhatten.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Spartan Lodge #936 F & A M.

George is my maternal grandfather.
