Kent Randolph Clark, CDR USN (Ret.) passed away on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 in Montgomery, OH. He was born in Barbourville, KY on April 7, 1937 the son of the late Buford T. and Eleanor (Owens) Clark.

Beloved husband of Mary Susan (Munger) Clark. Dear Father of Elizabeth (Eric) Sandberg and Anne (Thomas) Pugh and devoted grandfather of Sara and Benjamin Sandberg and Grayson and Reese Pugh. Loving brother to Thomas C. Clark and the late Lynne Logan and a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephew. He has many dear cousins.

He graduated from the US Naval Academy and retired after twenty years of service as a Navy carrier pilot, spending two tours in Vietnam, and later as an Aeronautical Engineering Duty Officer. He moved to Cincinnati in 1984 to work for General Electric Aircraft Engine Division. After retirement he enjoyed working and spending time at his family farm outside of Barbourville, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Cincinnati. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Monday, Sept. 15th from 10:00AM until time of Memorial Service at 12:00noon at Church of the Saviour United Methodist Church, 8005 Pfeiffer Road, Montgomery, OH 45242. Burial will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
