Josiah E. Lonis, 78, of 1751 Huron Street, died yesterday in his home after a long illness.
Surviving are his wife, Hattie; a daughter, Mrs. Russell Kanipe, and son, Leon Lonis, all of Toledo; sisters, Mrs. Mary Buchanan and Mrs. (illegible) Burt, both of Clayton, Mich., Mrs. Libbie Myers and Mrs. (illegible) Stoddard, both of Rome Center, Mich., and Mrs. Margaret (illegible), also of Michigan.
Services will be held in the Harry L. Gardner Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
