Mark W. Norris, 57, of Normal passed away at 6:13 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 11, 2014) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
He was born Nov. 15, 1956, a son to William Norris and Sandra J. Gravitt. Surviving are his parents; two daughters, Kayt Norris and Maggie Norris; five brothers, David (Gena) Norris, Stephen (Crystal) Norris, Tom (Pam) Norris, John (Julie) Norris and Dan (Dee Dee) Norris and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1974. He then attended University of Illinois in Urbana and graduated from Illinois State University in Normal. He spent most of his career in insurance sales and retired from State Farm Insurance Cos. in July.
