Funeral services celebrating the life of Stephen Glenn Fowler will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014, in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Brothers Micah Murrell, Roland George and Mark Clair officiating. Burial will follow at Bob Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Eddie Joe DeRosia, Gage DeRosia, Bryan Webb, Joe Saucier, Brandon Idlett and Chawn Brossette. Honorary pallbearer will be Tristin DeRosia.
The family asks that visitation be observed Sunday at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and resume Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Stephen, 50, of Deville, passed from this life on Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Newcastle, England.
He was a member of Bob Baptist Church, Pollock, the National Rifle Association and Youngblood Hill Hunting Club. Stephen was an avid hunter, fisherman and all around outdoorsman. He also enjoyed sports, especially LSU.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Kenneth Fowler and a daughter, Amy Nicole Fowler.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Susan Rosier Fowler; son, Laine Michael Chattos; daughters, Stephanie Alicia Tyler and husband Jason, Amanda Hope Fowler, Grace Marie Burkett and husband Jesse, Natasha Baker; grandchildren, Gavin, Bree and Kade Moran, Eli Tyler, Kaylee Coldiron and Jaxson Burkett; mother, Joyce Roberts Fitzgerald; brothers, Robert "Robbie" Fowler, Edward Joseph "Eddie Joe" DeRosia and wife Shauna; sisters, Staci Saucier and husband Joe, Kim Albritton and husband Brandon and numerous other family members and friends.
