Kennedy Alger
Trenton - At his home in this village yesterday occurred the death of Kennedy Alger. Mr. Alger had been in poor health for several years, and was confined to the house for the past four years. He was born in Bradford, Pa., Aug. 5, 1829. On Feb. 18. 1855, he married Miss Adelia P. Plaised of Syracuse. With his family he came Trenton about 40 years ago. Where he had since made his home, excepting five years when he resided in Utica.
About the year 1879, he with his son, under the firm name of Alger & Son, opened a hardware store in this village. Mr. Alger Sr retiring a few years since. Mr. Alger leaves a widow, one son, W Alger and one daughter, Mrs. W E Barker of this village.
