Ruth Jessie Baumann Kollath, 77, of the 4700 block of Open Greens Drive, died Aug. 8, 1995, in her residence.

Mrs. Kollath, widow of Martin Kollath Jr., was born in Baldwin, N.Y. She was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church, past matron of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter (NU)22, and past president of the Social Order of Beauceant (SOOB).

Survivors include one daughter, Dale Kollath of Norfolk; one son, M. Donald Kollath of St. Marys, Ga.; one sister, Izella Mason of Salem, Va.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Dr. John R. Monroe. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Personal Touch Hospice Care. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today, and following the service the family will receive friends at Mrs. Kollath's residence. For all those whose lives Ruth touched, hold her close in your hearts.
