Eva Louise Johnson, resident of Beggs, died in Tulsa September 13, 2014 at 82 years of age. Eva was born in Woodward, Oklahoma July 17, 1932 to Wilmer Thomas and Thelma Ruth Elizabeth (McClain) Damron.

On February 27, 1952 she married Eldon Gene Johnson. She worked as a bookkeeper for JC Penny and after their retirement they managed campgrounds for the National Campground Service in Colorado.

Eva was a very active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs teaching children’s church for 46 years plus bible studies.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, one son, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs with Reverend Robert Yandell officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.

Viewing will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs on Monday from 12-8 P.M. with the family present to greet guests from 6-8 P.M.
