Mrs. Janice Faye Buck Strickland, age 68 of Tabor City died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Loris Community Hospital in Loris, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Merle Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Cemetery in Pireway.
She was the daughter of the late Henry Layton and Pearl Long Buck.
She is survived by a son, Timmy Strickland of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter, Crystal Renee Strickland of Wilmington; sisters, Wanda B. Fowler of Tabor City, Helen B. Register of Whiteville and June B. Hall of Whiteville; a brother, Hugh L. Buck of Pireway; two grandchildren, Timothy D. Strickland and Georgina D. Strickland.
