She was also preceded by her granddaughter, Latricia Janicki and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Bird.

The Edmonson County native was a housekeeper at Park Mammoth Hotel and a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late William Basham and Cordelia Vincent Basham and the wife of the late Bradley Meredith. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Irene and Inez Meredith and Nola Mae Vanmeter; and three sons, Bradley, Larry Lee and Wayne Meredith.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville chapel, with burial in Bee Spring Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
