JOHN THOMAS TALBERT, husband of Mrs. Myrtle Irene (Barr) Talbert, died at his home, 32 East Baltimore Street, Funkstown, on Sunday afternoon, aged 69. He was the son of the late John A. and Mary (Palmer) Talbert, and was a member of the First Christian Church, and the Men’s Bible Class. He was employed by the M.P. Moller Company, and was a member of the Funkstown Fire Company.
Besides his wife, he is survived by sons; Robert J., Delaware, Oh.; Lewis J. and Thomas V., Hyattsville; daughters, Mrs. Lois Stine, at home; Mrs. Dorothy Barnes, Buffalo, NY; Mrs. Marjorie Brown, Funkstown; Mrs. Julia Wright, East Liverpool, Oh.; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the W.T. Norment Funeral Home; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
