Mrs. Rachel Clark Grant, age 74, of Alamo died Friday, July 13, 2007. Visitation will be held from 6-8, Monday, July 16, at Towns Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 17th at Alamo United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Alamo City Cemetery.
Mrs. Grant was retired from the Wheeler County State Bank, a member of the Alamo United Methodist Church where she was very active in the United Methodist Women's Group.
She is survived by her sister, Oretta Smith; brothers, L.W. Clark, Kenneth Clark and Butch Clark; sons, Glenn and Becky Boyette, Dennis and Pam Boyette, Jim and Donna Grant, Terry and Janet Grant; nieces and nephews, Fran and Kerry Foxworth, Russ Smith, Ricky and Randy Clark, Kimberly Prunty, Kelly LaMont, Claudia Frier and Marty Clark; grandchildren, Erin, Jessica, Rachel, Denny, Dustin, Laura, Charlie and Woody. She is predeceased by her husband, James Grant and her parents, Lamar and Willa Pearl Clark.
