Mrs. Sara Blair, 88, of Lanett died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at Bethany House in Auburn.

Funeral services are planned for Sunday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Steve Garnett officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett.

Mrs. Blair is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Born Nov. 12, 1922 in Fairfax, Mrs. Blair was the daughter of the late O. C. and Ruby Allen. She was a retired employee of WestPoint Pepperell's Mill Store, retiring in 1990. She loved her home, "The Blair House," and enjoyed working in her yard. Mrs. Blair was an active member of Fairfax First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Judson Blair.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to the Fairfax First Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 30 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
