FRANCIS EDWARDS FF, Francis Frederick, Edwards, 84, of Henderson, passed away Sept. 7, 2014. He was born Dec. 23, 1929, in Bond, Ky.

FF served in the U.S. Navy September 1948-September 1952 during the Korean War. He worked all his life for Western Airlines in Los Angeles, TWA in Saudi Arabia from 1957-1977 and Hughes Aviation in Las Vegas (now known as Signature) as an aircraft mechanic until his retirement in 1990. He was loved and respected by all his friends and co-workers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Edwards; mother, Nola Freeman; brother, James Edwards; three sisters, Geraldine Arnold, Joline Crawford and Pauline Burgan; son, Thomas Edwards; and grandson, Rustin Hancock.

He is survived by his wife, of 34 years, Susan Ann Edwards, who is retired from the U.S. Federal Government and the State of Nevada; four daughters, Nancy (Tom) Bugler of Middletown, Md.; Robyn Workman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jane (Marc) Harris and Gina Hancock both of Henderson; a son, James (Shannon) Hancock of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 98005.
