Virginia R. Simons, 84, of Kentland, IN passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at her home.
She was born November 6, 1929 in Kentland, the daughter of Curtis and Reba Whaley Kindig and they preceded her in death in addition to one brother, Calvin Kindig. She married James F. Simons on June 27, 1953 in Kentland and he preceded her in death on September 28, 2012.
She is survived by one son, Mark (Jo Ann) Simons; one daughter, Catherine (Earl) Standish; three sisters, Margaret Stonecipher, Evelyn McMullin and Shirley Johnson; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
