COWPENS, SC: Phillip Troy Norton, 68, husband of Patricia Peeler Norton, died September 11, 2014, at home. He was born December 17, 1945 to the late Roy Vance Norton and Marie Robbins Norton.
Mr. Norton was a Seaman 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War and he was a welder-machinist with Siemen’s Corporation. He was a loving husband, daddy, and pop who enjoyed relaxing and being with his family.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, Patricia, he is survived by a son, P. Brian Norton and wife, Laurie, of Boiling Springs, SC; a daughter, Amy N. Fain and husband, Mark, of Cowpens, SC; a sister, Mary N. Burgess and husband, Randy, of Lake Bowen; and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, and a sister.
