Jean B. Weaver, 83, formerly of Hershey, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.
Born June 16, 1931 in Hummelstown, she was preceded in death by her parents: Maurice and Kathryn (Baum) Baer.
Jean retired as the “Cookie Lady” from Fox’s Market and had worked at the former Hershey Department Store.
A member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and traveling.
Jean was preceded in death by her brother: Harold Baer; grandson P.J. Jordan; and, in 2012 by her husband, Robert E. Weaver.
Surviving are her children: Kathleen L., wife of Thomas Piasecki of Harrisburg, Robyn E. Jordan of Hershey, and James R., husband of Leann Weaver of Elizabethtown; grandchildren Rachael Jordan, Rebeccah Jordan, and Benjamin Weaver.
A funeral service will be held 02:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at her church, 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey preceded by a visitation from 01:00 PM.
Burial will be in the adjoining Spring Creek Cemetery.
