Teresa C. Brooks, 61, passed away at home Sept. 6, 2014, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her parents, Lum and Claudine Collins; and brother, Jerry. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Stephani (Brooks) and Matt Fulbright; granddaughter, Quinci Fulbright; sister, Judy Deiderich; nephew, Christopher Deiderich; cousin and caregiver, Marilyn Moore; along with many relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, at Calvary Baptist Church in Alcoa. A memorial service at 7 p.m. will follow, to include a dinner for the family in the fellowship hall. The family wants to especially thank the staff at Tennova Hospice for their service and graciousness.
