Mrs. Violet Foster Rigsby age 92 of El Paso, Texas (formerly of McMinnville, TN) died January 18, 2010, at Mountain View Health Care Center in El Paso, Texas. She was born on December 19, 1917, in Van Buren County, TN, was a beautician, and member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Rigsby was preceded in death by her parents Will and Sarah Catherine Alverson Foster, her husband Paris C. Rigsby, a sister Evelyn Murez, and brothers Ed Foster and William Ernest Foster.
Survivors include a sister Kathleen Panter of Pikeville, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 11 A.M. Saturday, January 23, 2010, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Comer Mullican will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery. The Rigsby Family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
