Peter Beucher With Company for years, Victim of fatal accident at Davidson

Peter Beucher, 53 years old a veteran employe of the H. C. Frick Coke Company was killed in the mines at Davidson, yesterday afternoon by a fall. His body was soon recovered and removed to J. L Stader's undertaking establishment and prepared for burial. It was then taken to the family residences on Frances avenue from which place the funeral will be held Sunday morning at 8:30 o'clock. Requiem High mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock in the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Mr Beucher was born in Germany, and was a son of Stephen and Gertrude Beucher. He has been in this country for many years and was considered one of the most careful employes of the Company. He had been employed at Davidson about 25 years and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, the Knights of St. George and the German Leiderkranz. He is survived by his widow, who is ill at home and a family of grown children. A brother, Stephen Beucher, was killed in the Darr mine disaster. Several brothers survive.
