Sheila Jane Bobo Stone, 63, resident of 1458 Cedar Springs Road, wife of Raymond Andrew "Andy" Stone died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at her home.
Born in Laurens County, January 24, 1951, she was a daughter of the late James Robert and Beatrice Casey Bobo. Mrs. Stone was a graduate of Lander College where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She taught for over twenty years and was formerly at Wright Middle School and Greenwood Christian School and later retired from Westwood Elementary School.
A member of South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mrs. Stone was also a member of Kingdom Builders Sunday School Class. She formerly taught children's Sunday School classes for many years.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Jack Franklin Bobo.
Surviving in addition to her husband of forty-four years of the home are a son, Jeff Stone and wife Heather of Abbeville; daughter, Andrea Taylor and husband Stephen of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Kate Taylor, Luke Stone, Alivia Taylor and Lydia Stone; two brothers, Robert "Bobby" Bobo and wife, Diane and Dale Bobo and wife Marie, both of Hodges; great-aunt, Grace Smith of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
