Louise attended Denison High School in Denison, TX. She married her best friend, Otis Ferguson in September of 1948 in Denison, TX. They shared 48 years of marriage together.
Louise was a homemaker and enjoyed nothing more than making a house a home for her family. She enjoyed cake decorating and crafts. She also worked as a bookkeeper at Krakers Clothing Store as well as a sales clerk for JCPenneys. Louise wrote columns for the Wagoner newspaper and taught youth Sunday school at Okay, Oklahoma for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada, Oklahoma.
Louise was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Margaret Anderson; her husband, Otis Ferguson; and brother, Freddy Anderson.
Louise is survived by one son, one daughter-in-law, one sister, one brother-in-law, two grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
The family requests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Falls Creek Scholarship Fund, 521 S Broadway Ave, Ada, OK 74820.
Funeral services honoring Louise’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2014 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Dennis officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Crockett, Bobby Johnson, Clay Young, Dale Ferguson, and Blake Ferguson.
